Our society doesn’t treat mental illness in the same severity as physical illness. Why? Well, it is hard to point a finger at one particular reason. However, lack of information/education, might be one of the top reasons why we tend to discard our own mental illnesses/issues and others’ as well. We somehow believe that Mental illness isn’t serious, and we should “MAN-UP” and face challenges in life, and not be a WUSS about it.
