We have all heard a lot about dreams. Some say dreams predict our future while some say they give us a glimpse of your past life. While few of us claim to never have dreams the rest keep researching on why the blinds don’t dream. These are all myths that we keep hearing from all around and might not hold true in all cases. But there are some facts that are common to everyone.

To begin with, one of the most common myth that we hear is of not having dreams. But the truth is we all dream. There is no one who does not dream. 90% of our dreams are forgotten by the time we get up while there are many who do not even remember the 10% which the rest might. Therefore they have a feeling of not getting dreams but the truth is we all dream but we tend to forget them.

Dreams have a common pattern and certain dreams are universal like dreaming about snakes, being naked, falling, flying. While some dreams paralyses us, the others can be controlled. Such dreams are called lucid dreams. Lucid dreams is conscious dreaming where the person is aware that he/she is dreaming and can take a control of the events that happen in it thereafter.

When we talk about dreaming we have a big dilemma about how would a blind man dream. But yes they do dream. Their dreams are dominated by other senses of smell, hear and touch. Dreams have no boundaries. We all dream and dreaming is a healthy natural process.
