[VIDEO] In Conversation With Sangeetha Rajeev: On Rediscovering Your Passion

1 Mins read

“When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”

From being born in a middle-class family in Bangalore to making it big as a singer, composer and performer – Sangeetha Rajeev is an inspiration to many. As a small child, she always wanted to be a dancer and perform to her fullest. Dancing had been her only goal in life. But something unexpected happened, that left her with no hopes of living that dream.

She was forced to resort to a corporate career, which for her was not what she wanted to do. Not being able to dance did not stop her from achieving her dream of being a performer. She started a journey on rediscovering herself and built her skills as a singer. She quit her well-paying corporate job and broke into the music industry, all by herself. She is now living her dream as a well-known singer in the Kannada Film Industry.

We at YourDOST had a chance to speak with Sangeetha as she shares her journey with us. Here’s what she has to say:

Recently, Sangeetha took her first step in Bollywood, through her song Chan Se Udi – a song in her words that describes her and many like her.

This is the philosophy Sangeetha lives by and encourages everyone else to:

Take life easy and don’t  forget to smile.
